To plan and carry out scientific experiments, write the advanced studies on speciality. PR10. To demonstrate a capacity for adaptation and action in the new situation related to work on speciality, ability to generate new ideas in area of sciences about Earth. PR12. To design геосферні objects and processes, applying cartographic and mathematical methods and геоінформаційні technologies. PR13. To identify and classify known and register new objects in composition of geospheres, their properties, phenomena and processes, to them.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
A presence of educational baccalaureate is from a cartography (sciences about Earth); to the geodesy and organization of the use of land; to geography, successful study of the obligatory professionally-oriented disciplines of curriculum of the first semester of the second level of higher education.
Course content
To provide students with knowledge of the theory and methodology of three-dimensional modeling in GIS, as well as to form appropriate practical skills for working in the appropriate software when creating three-dimensional models of real and/or imaginary objects for multi-directional practical use.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The program of educational discipline consists of such semantic modules: 1. "Теоретико-методологічні bases and informative providing of three-dimensional design are in ГІС". 2. "Functional possibilities of ГІС are for creation / of the use of three-dimensional models".
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms and organization of evaluation : current (semester) evaluation (practical works (minimum estimation 24, maximal 40; control works (6 - 10); independent work (5 - 10)); final (final) evaluation in form examination (estimation for knowledge of theory (minimum 12, at most 20 points); estimation for practical part (13 - 20)). For students that collected less of points totally, than critically-calculation minimum is 35 points, for admitting to the form of final control it is necessary necessarily to hand over an individual complex task is additionally executed.
