Know the basic concepts of theory and practice of information management technologies. Know the basic tasks. Know the basic methods of solving problems. Be able to apply basic management information technologies. Be able to apply models and methods of solving management problems.

Know the basic concepts of mathematical analysis, algebra, probability theory, operations research, system optimization. Be able to solve typical problems from these courses. Have basic skills: solve operations research problems. To access the discipline "Management Information Technologies" educational and professional program "Systems Analysis" the student must master the competencies and learning outcomes provided by the disciplines "Algebra and geometry "," System optimization "," Theory of decision making ". The discipline "Management Information Technologies" is the basis for mastering the disciplines "Applied problems of decision theory and systems analysis", "Methods for optimizing large-scale systems", "Mathematical models of systems analysis of the economy "," Decision-making in crisis situations ". etc.

The discipline "Information Technology Management" is part of the educational and professional training program for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 12 "Information Technology" in specialty 124 - "System Analysis", educational and professional program - "System Analysis". This course is a compulsory subject in the System Analysis program. It is taught in the 6th semester of the 3rd year in the amount of 120 hours. (4 ECTS credits), in particular: lectures - 28 hours, laboratory works - 26 hours, independent work - 64 hours. In the course 2 parts and 2 control works are provided. The discipline ends with a test in the 6th semester.
