Learning outcomes
PLO 7 Analyze, compare and classify different trends and schools in linguistics.
PLO 9 Describe the theoretical foundations (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) and applied aspects of Crimean Tatar philology.
PLO 16 Use specialized conceptual knowledge of Crimean Tatar philology to solve complex problems and issues that require updating and integrating knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements.
PLO17. Plan, organize, implement and present research and/or innovative developments in Crimean Tatar philology.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prior to taking this course, students must have successfully mastered the professional disciplines during their bachelor's degree, have basic factual knowledge of the humanities. Know the basics of linguistic studies, oriental philology and history of the Crimean Tatar language; Possess basic skills of cognitive and professional activity, culture of thinking, its general laws; scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign language professional informative sources; interaction and cooperation in learning in search situations.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline and tasks (learning objectives): to acquaint students with the theoretical provisions of the discipline, with the most famous scientists in the field of Turkic linguistics and their works, to consider the current state and current trends in linguistic research in the field of Turkology; to develop students' cognitive interests, the desire to improve their professional competence. The discipline is theoretical and practical in nature and contributes to the practical formation of future Turkologists' experience and knowledge necessary for their future professional activities. The discipline examines the ways of formation of modern Turkic science in Turkish and foreign linguistics, its goals and objectives; theoretical postulates, concepts, category and conceptual apparatus of leading Turkic schools; analyzes the main works on Turkish linguistics.

Oral response at a practical lesson, supplementary materials, participation in discussions at lectures and practical classes, blitz surveys, tests, report, presentation.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of semester work: oral response, additions, participation in discussions at lectures and practical classes, blitz surveys, tests; presentation.
Final assessment: written exam.
The final number of points in the discipline is determined as the sum of points for work during the semester, taking into account the final assessment. Admission to the exam implies that the student has successfully completed the assignments and work throughout the semester.
The final grade in the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for semester work (minimum 37, maximum 60 points) and the exam (minimum 24, maximum 40 points).
