PRO3. Use theories and laws of mathematics, physics, chemistry and other sciences to solve problems of modern biology. PRO4. Understand the basic terms, concepts, principles, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences on the border of subject areas. PRO8. Demonstrate knowledge / fundamental biological processes, structure and functions of living organisms. ПР1З. Apply in professional activities methods for determining the structural and functional characteristics of biological systems at different levels of the organization. PR17. Through self-study to master new knowledge and modern methods of experimental research to solve problems of biology. PR21. Solve applied problems of biology appropriate goat methods. PR24.2. Apply basic methods of molecular and industrial biotechnology. PR25.2. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills for planning and implementation scientific biochemical experiment.

Be able to independently apply knowledge of biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, etc. disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work. 3. Have the skills to work with scientific and methodological literature.
Course content
The discipline "Problems of modern biochemistry" studies current issues in various fields of biochemistry, reveals the importance of important biochemical pathways both under physiological conditions and in the development of diseases. He also researches modern problems of medical biochemistry and pharmacology: from the mechanisms of creating new drugs, their use for the treatment of diseases to the effects of drug metabolism in the body.
