1.1 Know the essence of risk as a basis insurance; current state insurance tourist market in Ukraine; patterns of development insurance relations 1.2 Know the specifics of insurance types in tourism; process and methods risk management in tourism 2.1 Be able to master basic insurance terminology, as well as legal bases of insurance risks in tourism in Ukraine work 4.1 Make and justify decisions regarding the potential impact certain types of risk on results of tourist activities enterprises, as well as regarding choice and implementation of control methods and risk monitoring.

External form

The educational discipline "Risk Management in Tourism" is a component of the educational and professional training program of specialists at the educational and qualification level "master" in the field of knowledge in the field of training 1401 - the field of service, specialty - 6.140103 - tourism. This discipline is normative and is taught for students specializing in 6.140103 - international tourism. It is taught in the first and second semesters of the 1st year of the master's degree in the amount of 13 hours. (credits – 5), in particular: lectures - 6 hours, practical - 4 hours. The course includes 2 content modules and 2 modular control works. The discipline ends with an exam.

Lectures, practical work, self-study

Student evaluation forms: tests (in lectures; 20 points each), report (according to practical work; 30 points) and a case problem (on practical work; 30 points). - semester assessment: 1. Tests - 40 points/24 points. 2. Report (on practical work) - 30 points/18 points. 3. Case problem – 30 points / 18 points - final evaluation (in the form of an exam/comprehensive exam, differentiated credit) is indicated: - exam; - the maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points; - to obtain a general positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the exam is not may be less than 10 points. A student is not admitted to the exam if he scored less during the semester than 60 points.
