Learning outcomes
PLO 5 To apply analytical and methodical tools for substantiating proposals and making managerial decisions by various economic agents (individuals, households, enterprises and government authorities). PLO 8 To apply appropriate economic and mathematical methods and models for solving economic problems. PLO 10. To analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, to identify functional areas, to calculate the relevant indicators that characterize the performance of their activities PLO 12. To apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and interpret the obtained results in a meaningful way. PLO 15. To demonstrate the basic skills of creative and critical thinking in research and professional communication PLO 17. To perform multidisciplinary analysis of socioeconomic phenomena and problems in one or more professional fields, taking into account risks and possible socio-economic consequences.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know: the content of the main economic categories; the basic terms of economics of enterprise; management, marketing, planning the activities of the company, organization of production, in particular, management functions, the formation of the production program, methods of calculating production capacity, cost classification, financial planning, etc. 2. Have skills in: assessing the efficiency of enterprise activities; analysis of external and internal factors, predicting the likelihood of adverse events occurring.
Course content
Methods and models of effective economic decision-making under conditions of risk and uncertainty are studied. The means of decision-making in enterprises of different types and forms of ownership are revealed. The main factors of risk events are analyzed, methods of their timely forecasting, assessment of possible losses, prediction and application of appropriate corrective actions are studied.
