Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the courses "Chemistry", "Bioorganic Chemistry", "Biochemistry", as well as some sections of physics and mathematics. Ability to apply knowledge and skills acquired during the mastery of organic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, biochemistry, in practical work, mastery of basic methods of work in biochemical laboratories. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biological and biotechnological laboratories.
Course content
The discipline is designed to conduct theoretical and practical training of students to conduct laboratory work on biochemical topics. The main attention is paid to mastering the theoretical foundations of physical research methods (nuclear magnetic resonance), gaining practical skills in interpreting the results of spectral research, methods of isolation, purification and identification of major classes of bioorganic compounds in biological material, chromatographic methods, methods of obtaining various animal cells study of biological membranes (isolation of membranes of various organelles, determination of the activity of marker enzymes).
