Know the peculiarities of market formation and functioning mechanism
tourist services; specific features of tourism market models; methods
assessment of the level of formation of the tourist market; current state of the market
tourist services of different hierarchical levels and specialized tourist markets;
problems of the national tourist market of Ukraine and their directions
solution.
Be able to apply the methodology of researching the market of tourist services for it
analysis; determine the type of tourist market; determine competitive positions
country or specific/specialized market; to assess competitiveness. Have elementary skills in search, selection, processing,
presentation, analysis and synthesis of disparate characterizing data
activity of the subjects of the tourist market and its condition
of Ukraine in various markets of tourist services.
Course content
Educational discipline "Market
tourist services" is aimed at studying the specific features of the formation and
functioning of the tourist market, assessment of the impact of objective and
subjective factors on the formation of tourist demand/supply,
peculiarities of the species and spatial organization of the tourist consumer market
services, the characteristics of the specifics of the functioning of the supply market and its
subjects (global and national levels); on mastering the methodology
research and evaluation of the practice of functioning of the tourist services market, on
knowledge and understanding of the principles and criteria of typification of tourist markets, definition of models of their functioning, spatial patterns
organization of the tourist process, which is considered at the macro-regional level and
national levels.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment in the form of credit based on the sum of points scored during the semester
speeches at seminars. Seminars are held on topics in the form of discussion
analytical material prepared by students in the form of a presentation at
elaboration of the topic of the seminar ("round table" on the topic of the seminar), which gives
the result in the sum of 30-60 points, + theoretical and methodological testing
course questions (maximum 40 points). For students who have scored a total of less points than the minimum critical calculation - 30 points, in order to receive admission to the credit, it is necessary to
complete an individual task on the topic "Strategic goals of sustainable development
tourist market of Ukraine".
