Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and Turkish and English languages orally and in writing, and use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folklore, determine their specificity and place in the literary process (according to the chosen specialization). PLO 15. Carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must successfully master the discipline "Genres and Styles of Turkish Literature of the XVI-XVIII centuries" and know the study of the periodization of Turkish literature; have knowledge of the origin and development of Turkish literature, know the works of writers and literary trends in Turkish literature from the beginning of the formation of Turkish literature from the Period of Oral Literature to the beginning of the XVI century. Be able to set research goals and objectives, use research methods, analyze works of art.
Course content
The discipline "Genres and Styles of Turkish Literature of the XVI-XVIII centuries" introduces the conceptual foundations of the analysis of the Turkish literary process of the Ottoman period; studies the reforms in the Ottoman Empire of this period; examines the features of the leading genres and styles of literature; introduces the creative works of Fuzuli and Baki, Zati, Hayali, BagdatliRukhi, Shebk-i Hindi, Naili, Nephi, Nedim. Mesnev and his thematic palette.The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with the history of the Turkish literary process of the XVI-XVIII centuries, its genre specificity, as well as with the works of the classical writers of this period; conceptual principles of analysis of the Turkish literary process; to identify the peculiarities of Turkish literature; to instill the skills of independent processing of literary material in order to determine the typical and national in the context of the world literary process.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The work program of the discipline during the semester includes the following forms of training: practical classes (preparation of assignments, exercises, work with text corpora, the Internet); creative tasks (presentation), module tests. The course ends with a term paper.
Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which is 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3); (autonomy and responsibility 4), which is 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1.Work in seminars: PH 1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3, 4 - 10/30 points. 2.Creative tasks: EL 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3, 4 - 6/10 points.
