Learning outcomes
PLO1 Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO6 Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity. PLO12 Analyze language units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them. PLO14 Use the Crimean Tatar language in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
-Successful mastery of professional disciplines during the first year of study; -knowledge of phonetic laws, grammatical constructions and syntax rules of the Crimean Tatar language; be able to: -use basic and professionally oriented knowledge of the basics of philology, history, sociology and cultural studies; -apply the acquired knowledge in practice and have basic skills of cognitive and professional activities; culture of thinking, its general laws.
Course content
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the main provisions of modern translation studies, to form a practical basis for the translation skills necessary for their future work. The course is aimed at developing a conscious translation activity based on understanding the regularities of the translation process as an act of interlingual communication, its limits, the ability to identify translation problems, develop strategies and tactics for solving them in specific conditions. The aim of this course is to provide students with the professional competence to carry out translation activities in the field of professional communication.
