Learning outcomes
PR4. Solve complex problems in the field of biology, generate and evaluate ideas. PR10. Present the results of scientific work in writing (in the form of a report, scientific publications, etc.) and orally (in the form of reports and defense of the report) using modern technologies, argue their position in the scientific discussion. PR12. Use innovative approaches to solve complex problems of biology under uncertain conditions and requirements. PR19. Solve scientific-theoretical, research and applied problems of biology by appropriate methods. PR27. Be able to use existing, develop and implement new research methods and technologies to solve a specific scientific-theoretical and / or applied problem in botany, physiology and plant ecology.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of disciplines "Plant Physiology", "Environmental Marketing", "Biochemistry", "Safety of production and labor protection in environmental activities"; knowledge of the basics of morphology, anatomy, plant physiology, phytocenology, ecology, florology in the framework of normative, special disciplines and field practices taught in previous years of study. 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of ecology and physiology, microbiology, etc. disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature; ability to identify botanical objects in the volume determined by normative and special disciplines taught in previous years of study. 3. Using keys to identify taxa of different ranks, identify plants, analyze data from geobotanical descriptions and prodromes of vegetation.
Course content
The discipline covers the basic concepts and principles of environmental risk, environmental safety, environmental assessment, environmental expertise, environmental audit, environmental insurance; forms a set of knowledge about the sources and manifestations of the current environmental crisis, ways to overcome, prospects for cooperation of economic, political, legal, technical and others. measures on natural conditions and resources, economic assessment of natural resources, the effectiveness of environmental measures, the basic concepts of sustainable development; deepens the sense of responsibility for the state of the environment, awareness of man as a part of nature; its place in the system of other biological disciplines is consistent with the concept of conservation of individual plant species, phytocenoses and ecosystems in general as a material for diverse biological research and sustainable development of nature and society.
