Course content
The discipline "Flora and Vegetation of Ukraine" is part of the cycle of free choice of students. The discipline is a basic botanical discipline, which is most consistent with the concept of phytodiversity and differentiation of plant superorganisms as a material for various botanical studies and subsequent generalizations about the state of ecosystems in different regions of Ukraine. The discipline covers the issues of structural analysis of flora, application of statistical methods of floristic research, features of formation of aboriginal and adventitious fractions of flora and urban flora, diversity and general and special structural and functional features of plant communities in Ukraine, their origin, patterns of development and significance. natural biomes and for man, floristic, geobotanical and botanical-geographical zoning, preservation of resource potential of spontaneous vegetation of Ukraine.
