Learning outcomes
Formation of modern knowledge about labor legislation of the 20th century; historical stages of its formation and their features; trends in the development of labor law and legislation in the 21st century, stages of formation and development of local legal regulation of labor.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: conceptual and categorical framework of legal regulation of labor; main guidelines for the formation and improvement of labor legislation in this area; history of legal regulation of labor justice; formation of legislation on remuneration and labor protection. Be able to: analyze regulations; interpret the provisions of official documents and sources of law; identify issues and evaluate the historical practice of legal regulation of labor. Possess the skills of: search for information, regulations, court decisions in relevant professional search information systems and archival institutions.
Course content
Students comprehensively study the formation of labor legislation of the 19th – 20th centuries; history of legal regulation of labor justice, resolution of labor disputes, remuneration and labor protection; special attention will be paid to clarifying the history of supervision in the field of labor protection, legal regulation of employment and mediation as alternative methods of resolving labor disputes.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Semester forms of evaluation: - oral answer - from 1 to 5 points; - Express testing - from 1 to 3 points; - Module test - from 1 to 5 points; - Publication of scientific theses - from 1 to 3 points; - Testing (to select correct answers from the set of judgments) - from 1 to 3 points; - Report - from 1 to 5 points; - Intermediate evaluation (final testing - from 1 to 60 points. - The minimum score that can be obtained by a student on the appropriate forms of evaluation is 24 points. - Maximum - 40 points per semester. - Final evaluation: - Minimum - 24 + 36 = 60 points, - Maximum 40 + 60 100 points.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing evaluation are selected by the lecturer who gives lectures in accordance with the disciplines provided by the Curriculum. Types of ongoing evaluation are oral answers, express testing, written tests, additions to oral answers, reports, module test. The ongoing evaluation is subject to: level of knowledge, completeness of the answer, readiness to discuss questions; systematic work in the classroom, elaboration of supplementary sources, timeliness of written tasks. The number of points is recorded in the group performance log. In case of missed classes for good reasons, the student can make up the missed assignment out of class. If a student scores less than 24 points in a seminar, he/she may not be admitted to the final testing. Subject to additional points, he/she is allowed to the final testing in the process of retaking the course.
