Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor", in particular "Biophysics", "Biochemistry", "Physiology of man and animals", "Molecular Biology". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology and other disciplines, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have the skills to work with computers, materials and equipment used in biological laboratories.
Course content
The subject of the discipline is the study of electrical properties of cells and tissues, physicochemical processes that underlie electrogenesis, including biophysical and molecular mechanisms of formation and maintenance of transmembrane ion gradients and transmembrane ion transport. The main electrophysiological methods of multicellular preparations and isolated cells, principles of modern robotic patch-terminal systems, basic principles of classical ion channel biophysics, molecular biophysics and ion channel physiology, modern classification of potential- and ligand-controlled ion channels and their biophysical functions and their biophysical functions are considered. and molecular mechanisms of calcium homeostasis and signaling. In the future, the acquired knowledge and skills in the field of "Electrobiophysics and biophysics of ion channels" can be used in research in the field of biophysics and in interdisciplinary research.
