Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the courses "Biochemistry", "Physiology and Anatomy of Man and Animals", "Biophysics", "Molecular Biology".
Course content
The task of the discipline is to form students' ideas about molecular and cellular mechanisms of regulation of cell life processes. The basic principles of information transmission in the cell, the structure and features of the functioning of membrane and intracellular receptors, as well as ways of signal transmission and conversion are considered. The knowledge acquired as a result of studying the discipline can be applied in research in both related sciences and in interdisciplinary fields, as well as serve as a theoretical basis for disciplines in the field of medicine.
