Learning outcomes
To show the fundamental knowledge acquired in the learning process within the chosen specialization on the theoretical foundations of the constituent elements of law, their legal nature, the basics of methodology, functions, principles, structure, forms of implementation. To define the theory and practice of critical comprehension of ideas about the law, the basic rules of construction of scientific hypotheses. To evaluate and analyze legal problems, offer approaches to solving such problems. To know the main aspects of the formation and development of legal institutions of public control in Ukraine, features of the legal nature of control in the formation of a democratic state which provides protection of human rights and legitimation of public administration. Acts of administrative legislation governing the relations of participants in the relevant activities; System of subjects of state control, the importance of public control.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
• knowledge of the main aspects of the formation and development of legal institutions of public control in Ukraine, peculiarities of the legal nature of control in the formation of a democratic state which provides the protection of human rights and legitimation of public administration; literature sources on the problems of legal consolidation of the principles of control activities, acts of administrative legislation; the system of subjects of public control concerning the protection of personal rights, the importance of public control in the system of subjects of control. To evaluate and determine the role and tasks of control activities of public administration entities; to distinguish between the types of control; to give legal characteristics to individual subjects of control activities; to determine the object and subject of control activities, to find out the forms and mechanism of their implementation, the feasibility of classification features of control;
Course content
When studying the discipline the provisions are revealed: a) analysis of the problems of legal consolidation of the principles of control in the system of protection of individual rights in a democratic society, the practice of public control in public administration, control activities of public administration in the protection of personal rights; b) general characteristics of control as a form of legal activity of public administration entities; c) legal regulation of control as an institution of democracy in the organization of public authorities for the protection of individual rights;

Report (speech on a given topic) - 5 points; • Supplement to the report - up to 3 points; • Express questioning - up to 3 points; • Colloquium - up to 4 points; • Case resolution - up to 5 points; Independent work - up to 4 points; • Report on the topic of individual task - up to 6 points; • Report on the performance of an individual task - up to 4 points; Essays (short answers to questions) - up to 3 points; • Testing (from the set of judgments to choose the right ones) - up to 3 points; • Abstract (profound written work on a given topic with analysis of the literature and conclusions) - up to 6 points; • Participation in the discussion - up to 3 points; • Development of a draft transaction of citizens - up to 4 points; • Development of a draft statement of claim and court decision in forms - up to 6 points; • Solving problems - up to 5 points; • Control questioning (tests, tasks by options) - up to 10 points; Final test - up to 5 points.
