PR12. Use innovative approaches to solve complex problems of biology under uncertain conditions and requirements. PR14. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Fundamentals of Higher Mathematics", "Fundamentals of Information Technology", "Biophysics", "Radiobiology", "Molecular Biology", "Biochemistry", "Biotechnology". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of mathematics, computer modeling, biophysics, radiobiology and molecular biology, biochemistry and biotechnology, perform analytical and numerical calculations using appropriate software packages, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills for building and analyzing mathematical models of various biological processes.
Course content
Objectives of the discipline: to form an idea of 1) general approaches to building mathematical models of biological processes, 2) qualitative analysis of mathematical models of biological processes, 3) numerical analysis of mathematical models of biological processes.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 1. Modular test - PH 1.1-1.3 - 60 points / 30 points 2. Report on the results of practical, independent work: RN 2.1 - 4.1 - 30 points / 15 points 3. Intermediate testing: PH 1.1 - 4.1 - 10 points / 5 points Final assessment: in the form of a credit.
