Course content
The discipline "Evolutionary Anatomy and Morphology of Flowers" is a basic botanical discipline that deals with the morphological and anatomical diversity of vegetative and reproductive organs of flowering plants. The course covers the basic theories of the origin of flowers and vegetative organs, the evolutionary relationship of woody and herbaceous flowers, considers possible directions of evolution of various flower organs, including their anatomical and palynomorphological features. Introduces the structure of organs at the macro-, micro- and ultrastructural levels. Covers the issue of adaptive flower adaptations of different growth conditions.
