Course content
The curriculum focuses on the most important laws of chemistry, atomic structure, periodic law and periodic table of chemical elements, basic types of chemical bonds, major classes of inorganic compounds, solutions of electrolytes and non-electrolytes, patterns of chemical reactions, chemical properties of simple substances. compounds. During the course, students take a laboratory course, which is an integral part of mastering practical knowledge and conduct simple chemical research and experiments to achieve this goal.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and includes: 7 laboratory works (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher) and 4 written modular tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written exam.
