Own the methods of land management design, territorial and economic land management, planning the use and protection of land, considering the influence of a number of conditions of socio-economic, environmental, landscape, environmental nature and other factors.

Course content
Discipline is devoted to international practice of subsoil and natural resource assessment, including United Nation resource management system, some professional standards of land and subsoil resource assessment. The common approach to the resource estimation as the not only economical profitable projects but also the projects with social and environmental friendly impact is provided. The practical part is included the most important methods of resource assessment and examples based on world practice. The main tasks of discipline are: 1) Provide a common understanding of land and subsoil management practice; 2) Understand the fundamentals of United Nation resource management system; 3) Familiarize students with the basic methods of land and subsoil valuation; 4) Practice in joint spatial analysis of land and subsoil resources.

Assessment methods and criteria
Control is carried out according to the modular rating system and provides for: passing of 4 practical classes (where students must demonstrate the quality of the acquired knowledge and solve the tasks set using the methods outlined by the teacher) and to solve the tasks without limiting the tools and techniques of solving the problem) and passed 2 written tests. The final grading is carried out in the form of a written final test.
