PR03. Plan, execute, analyze data and present the results of experimental research in the field of biology. PR06. Apply models, methods and data of physics, chemistry, ecology, mathematics in the process of learning and ensuring professional activity. PR07. Have the techniques of self-education and self-improvement. Be able to design the trajectory of professional growth and personal development, applying the acquired knowledge. PR08. Know and understand the basic terms, concepts, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences and on the borders of subject areas. PR11. Understand the structural organization of biological systems at the molecular level. PR12. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successfully master the courses "Botany", "Biochemistry", "Ecology", "Inorganic Chemistry", "Organic Chemistry", "Microbiology". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of plant anatomy, biochemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biological and chemical laboratories.
Course content
The discipline "Plant Physiology" is a compulsory discipline that forms a comprehensive view of physiological and biochemical processes occurring in plants during their ontogenesis, in particular, considered the structure and function of plant cell organelles and their individual compartments, water regime of various ecological groups of plants, photosynthesis and respiration of plants, features of root nutrition, growth and development of plants, mechanisms of regulation of morphogenesis, resistance and adaptation of plants to biotic and abiotic environmental factors.
