PR01. Understand the social and economic consequences of the introduction of the latest developments in the field of biology in professional activities. PR03. Understand the structural organization of biological systems at the molecular level. PR12. Demonstrate knowledge of the structure, vital processes and functions of living organisms, understand the mechanisms of regulation of physiological functions to maintain homeostasis of biological systems.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "General Cytology", "Biochemistry", "Histology". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of biochemistry, cytology, physiology, microbiology, etc. disciplines, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with physico-chemical and biological research methods.
Course content
The discipline "Immunology" is part of the educational program of professional training of specialists of the educational level "Bachelor". The discipline is a basic discipline that covers the principles of structural organization and functioning of the immune system, considers the classification and mechanisms of cellular and humoral factors of immune defense, patterns of primary and secondary immune response, immune memory formation, and provides opportunities for practical application of immunological methods in the field of science and other spheres of social activity (biotechnology, medicine, veterinary medicine, etc.).
