Learning outcomes
PLO 7. To use methods and technologies of land management design, territorial and economic land management, planning of land use and protection, cadastral surveys and maintenance of the state land cadastre; PLO 5. Use methods of collecting information in the field of geodesy and land management, its systematization land management, its systematization and classification in accordance with the design or production task; PLO 9. To process the results of geodetic measurements, topographic and cadastral surveys, using geographic information technologies and computer software and database management systems

1. To know the theoretical and practical foundations of geoinformatics. 2. Have the skills to work in the geo-information software environment systems.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the modeling of the urbanized territory and the analysis of the created models using the tools of the geoinformation system. The process of creating a working environment for working out the concepts of municipal management, understanding and tracking the development of existing work (emergency) situations, monitoring the execution of given orders and prescriptions, forecasting possible situational states is considered. As a theoretical basis for such forecasting, a whole set of classic operations of GIS analysis is considered: measurement; spatial selection; automated classification; overlay operations; neighborhood functions; connectivity etc.

Assessment methods and criteria
Final assessment in the form of a modular test (written/oral form): the maximum number of points for it is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to semester tests is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the modular test). Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to write the modular test. The recommended minimum for admission to it is 36 points. A student is allowed to write a modular test subject to the submission of all laboratory work reports provided for in the plan. For works not submitted by the specified deadline, 2 points are deducted for each day of delay.
