Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) to know, successfully master the course "Philosophy"; 2) to be able to master the skills of the discipline "Psychology"; 3) have basic skills and abilities to form the basic regulators of activity and behavior in a student group.
Course content
The discipline "Higher Education Pedagogy and Teacher's Pedagogical Excellence" is necessary for the formation of professional and pedagogical competence of a university teacher. The discipline reveals the main categories of higher education pedagogy, its principles, methods, and technologies. Particular attention is paid to the development of skills, skills of lecturing, seminars, which is possible in the conditions of practical activity, which is fundamental to this course. Practical exercises, reflection and independent work of students in the form of critical essays and creative work are of crucial importance.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, seminar, practical assignments, pedagogical situations, preparation of presentations, analytical materials, reports, defense of practical assignments, and term papers.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the classes, the following are assessed: oral response, presentation, practical tasks, critical essay, and creative work. The test is performed and evaluated after the completion of Part 1 (topics 1 - 4), the final test is performed after the completion of Part 2 (topics 5 - 8) and includes questions from the entire course. The maximum number of points for a student's work during the semester is 60 points. The written exam is worth 40 points.
