Students' achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as: formulate their own sound judgments based on the analysis of a known problem; communicate fluently in state and foreign languages both orally and in writing correctly using the law; provide advice on possible ways of protection of the rights and interests of clients in various legal situations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of historical formation and development of property and inheritance law in Ukraine, the legal nature of property and inheritance rights, the basic principles of their implementation and methods of protection, literary sources on property and inheritance law, acts of civil law of Ukraine governing property and inheritance relations, and existing case law for resolving civil disputes in these areas. Be able to assess and determine the role and objectives of property and inheritance law of Ukraine, to distinguish property and inheritance rights from other types of civil rights, to give them legal characteristics. Have basic skills in working with educational and legal literature, the use of scientific methods of knowledge and legal methods of resolving controversial practical situations in the field of property and inheritance law.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at legal analysis of the provisions of property and inheritance law of Ukraine and problematic issues related to their law enforcement, study of theoretical and practical aspects of origin (termination), exercise and protection of property and inheritance rights. Within the framework of the discipline the general characteristics of property and inheritance rights, legal regulation of civil relations in which these rights are realized, as well as the features of protection of such rights in the civil law of Ukraine are studied. The course of the discipline provides in-depth study by students of current legislation of Ukraine in the field of property and inheritance law.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-studying work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
At seminars ongoing performance evaluation of the student's knowledge of the discipline includes: reports and research papers - from 6 to 10 points; express questioning - from 3 to 5 points; case resolution - from 5 to 7 points; presentation - from 5 to 10 points; discourse - from 5 to 8 points. The following are subject to assessment: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the response; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; homework results. Missing for good reason seminar classes a student can work in extracurricular time (time of teacher consultations) through oral interviews, testing, preparation of scientific reports. A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final assessment may be excluded from the final assessment. The final assessment of the student's knowledge takes place during the written test (maximum score - 60).
