Learning outcomes
PLO 5. Plan the activities of the organization in strategic and tactical sections.
PLO 6. Have the skills to make, justify and ensure the implementation of management decisions in unpredictable conditions, taking into account the requirements of applicable law, ethical considerations and social responsibility.
PLO 15. Identify and classify new tasks in the field of management, describe, analyze and evaluate relevant objects, phenomena and processes, choose the best methods for their study.
PLO 17. Apply skills of intellectual property management to enhance innovation at the micro, meso, macroeconomic levels.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of courses "Management". "Marketing", "Fundamentals of Science and Technology and Innovation Policy", "Strategic Management", "Organization and Management of Innovations".
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of macro- and microeconomics, psychology, sociology, law, economic theory, finance, business economics.
3. Be able to calculate economic indicators, process statistical data, analyze statistical information.
4. Have basic skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
Content module 1. "Theoretical principles of intellectual property management" contains questions: the essence of intellectual property, its characteristics as an object of management, the essence and components of intellectual property management system, types of objects and subjects of intellectual property, the content of international and national systems intellectual property management.
Content module 2: "Practical aspects of intellectual property management" involves consideration of organizational, information support of intellectual property management, organization of registration of intellectual property rights, strategic management of intellectual property of the organization, intellectual property valuation, management of intellectual property commercialization in the organization, licensing in the field of intellectual property, ethical aspects of intellectual property management, organization of protection of intellectual property rights.

Problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, discussion, consideration of situational and practical tasks, conducting a business game, creative individual tasks, consultations, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment:
1. Test LO 1: 1., 2.1., 2.4, 4.1., 4.2 - 10 points / 6 points;
2. Surveys, situational tasks with elements of discussion: LO 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 3.1,4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 - 10 points / 6 points;
3. Test, calculation and analytical tasks: LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 - 10 points / 6 points;
4. Individual creative tasks: LO 1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 3, 4 - 10 points / 6 points;
5. Test 2: LO 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 4.3, 4.4 - 10 points / 6 points
The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam with a maximum score of 40 points (marginal score of 24 points).
