Prerequisites and co-requisites
Possess knowledge, skills and abilities in the disciplines of the social and humanitarian cycle: "Introduction to University Studies, Philosophy, etc. Know the basic categories and concepts related to the life of man, society, state and law. Be able to identify and analyze educational and scientific information, make informed conclusions on professional issues. Possess basic skills in drafting written documents, correcting their content, systematizing the materials necessary for work, and effectively organizing their own learning activities.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form in students, based on the study of the main institutions of labor law of Ukraine, a system of knowledge about the rights and obligations of labor law subjects, guarantees of their implementation and legal liability for non-fulfillment/improper fulfillment of such; the necessary competencies and initial practical skills in terms of implementing the provisions of labor law to ensure the ability to use the tools of the rule of law in professional and social activities. The discipline is an organic combination of legal knowledge necessary for the formation of general competencies in specialists in all fields of activity aimed at acquiring knowledge of: the rules of law on the employment contract; working time and rest time; labor standardization and remuneration; labor protection; disciplinary and material liability; protection of labor rights.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms of study: Lecture, seminar, independent work. Teaching methods: Explanatory and demonstration method. Interactive method: instructional, regulatory. Search, partially search method. Independent work with scientific sources. Method of modeling a problem situation (case method). Activity-communication method: discussions, speeches, answers to questions.
