            - Basic requirements for the phasing of geological study and development of mineral deposits;
- Factors that determine the industrial value of deposits;
- Use modern methods of calculating the reserves of mineral deposits;
- Use modern approaches and methods of economic evaluation of mineral deposits;
- Calculate financial indicators when assessing subsoil use, taking into account the specific risks of the mining business.

            Course content

            The course provides knowledge about the objects, tasks and methods of economic assessment in geology: geological and economic assessment of mineral resources, geological space, environmental and geological research and economic assessment of losses from the use of subsoil. Stages and stages of geological, technical and economic study of subsoil are considered; factors that determine the industrial value of deposits and subsoil areas. Students are acquainted with the main tools and regulations operating in the geological field in the field of public administration of subsoil use

            Assessment methods and criteria

            The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and includes: practical work (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher), independent practical work (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems without limiting tools and techniques for solving the problem) and conducting 2 written modular tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam
