Learning outcomes
PLO1. Evaluate own educational and scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PLO2. Confidently speak the state language, Turkish, a second Turkic language and English for written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of their research in the state, Turkish and English languages. PLO6. To apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organise successful communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The discipline "Second Turkic Language: Practical Course" is a part of the cycle of professional training of specialists of the master's degree, and is part of the elective block "Linguistics and Second Turkic Language". Before studying this discipline, students must already have a thorough knowledge of the first Turkic language.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to ensure students' practical mastery of various types of speech activities, i.e. to operate freely with dialogic and monologic speech within the topics covered during the entire period of study of this discipline; reading and understanding of adapted texts of scientific, fiction, colloquial and socio-political styles; formation of written communication skills and gradual shift of the main focus from the formation of speech skills to the development of speech abilities. The discipline "Second Turkic Language: Practical Course" provides the formation of the main types of speech activities in the second Turkic language: reading, speaking, writing and listening. It develops students' communicative language competences: perception and understanding of elementary listening discourse, ability to communicate on topics defined by the programme, text comprehension and ability to reproduce what has been read. Develops writing and reading skills that meet the requirements of a basic level of foreign language proficiency. Develops the ability to use the theoretical aspect of grammatical material in practical application. The discipline is one of the components of the elective block "Linguistics and a Second Turkic Language". The programme of the discipline consists of 2 content modules. Classes are held in the form of practical classes. The discipline ends with an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of assessment: - Semester assessment: Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.4), which is 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.2); (communication 3.1-3.2); (autonomy and responsibility 4), which is 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work in seminars: PH 1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.2, 3, 4 - 10/26 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: PH 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2, 4 - 2/4 points.
