Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of physics, chemistry, mathematics (at the level of non-core specialties ZVO), basics geophysical research in wells, petrophysics, petrography of sedimentary rocks. 2. Possession of basic skills in working with a personal computer.
Course content
The discipline includes: the concept of the base of input geological-geophysical, industrial and related information, on the basis of which the solution of industrial geophysics; the concept of individual, comprehensive and generalizing interpretation, interpretation of qualitative and quantitative; the essence of geophysical and geological stages of processing and interpretation of industrial geophysics data; basic (classical) methods, methods of interpretation of data of electric, radioactive, acoustic and other methods of industrial geophysics for the purpose of allocation in sections of wells of oil and gas-saturated reservoir rocks and definition of their petrophysical, including collector, properties and calculated parameters (coefficients effective thickness)

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, laboratory work, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and provides: performance of 7 laboratory works (where students have to demonstrate the quality of the acquired knowledge and solve the tasks using the outlined ones teacher methods and tools), oral interview at seminars (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve the problem tasks) and conducting 3 written modular tests. Final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam.
