Learning outcomes
Know: current data on the structure and development of the Earth and major geospheres, current data on the development of endogenous and exogenous processes, the relationship of different petrogenesis, structure and oregenesis, the level and nature of theoretical problems facing modern geologists. Be able to: compare existing ideas and hypotheses on certain issues, formulate and argue their own imagination using data obtained during the acquisition of theoretical courses, training practices and analysis of literature sources.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Basic knowledge and skills acquired during training and production practices and listening to a number of courses, including geophysics, mathematics, geotectonics, structural analysis, petrology.
Course content
The course acquaints with modern data on the structure of the Earth, the processes of differentiation of planetary matter, its stratification into geospheres, the dynamics of the Earth's core, mantle and tectonosphere, the relationship of all geospheres.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, independent student work
Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. Semester assessment: conducting 2 module-test works, each evaluated by 10 points (6th point mark). For work in lectures and seminars - 40 points (marginal score of 36 points). The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam: maximum score of 40 points (maximum score of 24 points). During the exam, the student performs tasks in the exam ticket, using knowledge and skills in the discipline "Geodynamics of Geospheres". Final assessment in the form of an exam is mandatory.
