Learning outcomes
Know: 1. subject, methods, theoretical foundations of professional and corporate ethics research; 2. principles and basic norms of professional ethics; 3. the main types of professional ethics and their modern functioning; the role of professional and corporate ethics in the formation of professionalism; 4. methods and mechanisms for solving the main moral dilemmas of modern practices and peculiarities of professional codes in business practice; 5. the basics of professional ethics of publishing and communicative activity of scientists; 6. basics of ethics of business relations in scientific institutions and institutions of higher education Be able to: competently argue the specifics of the main ethical principles and norms of professional ethics, their interaction and ways to overcome the gap between general moral principles and requirements of corporate ethics to ensure the success of business processes, projects, development of information and analytical systems

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages of the development of ethical thought; basic ethical and philosophical concepts and categories, characteristics basic provisions of ethical systems and their corresponding value-normative programs; basic methods of philosophical and ethical research, methods of psychology in the analytical consideration of dilemma situations 2. Be able to apply the basic methodology of imperative-value aspects of professional practice directly to dilemma problems of professional and corporate ethics; predict and anticipate likely negative consequences. 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and integrated information of scientific research; information management and use foreign language professional informative sources, namely, to receive and analyze information from various sources that would meet the requirements and needs of seeing dilemma processes in the modern socio-cultural space.
Course content
The discipline "Professional and corporate ethics" belongs to the list of disciplines of choice at universities and is taught in the second semester of the master's degree. The educational discipline consistently examines the peculiarities of the development and formation of professional and corporate ethics and their necessity in modern professional practices. The subject, tasks, theoretical foundations, methodologies, main directions of professional ethics are defined. The peculiarities of the use of in-depth knowledge of legal and ethical norms when assessing the consequences of one's activity, the development and development of practical skills and decision-making skills for the ethical behavior of specialists in dilemma situations of professional activity, as well as familiarization with codes of professional ethics are clarified. The peculiarities of mastering the methods of analysis of these codes and their improvement, developing understanding and conviction regarding following the norms of professional ethics, as a necessary condition for professional development, are considered. Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The total volume is 90 hours, including: lectures - 30 hours, independent work - 60 hours.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final control work. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. For students who scored a total of less than the critical minimum of 60 points, in order to receive credit, it is necessary to complete the missed topics in writing and submit/send by e-mail to the teacher conducting the seminar classes. Thus, the final grade for the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for the semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the final test (minimum 12, maximum 20 points).
