Learning outcomes
- Understand the broad interdisciplinary context of the specialty, its place in the theory of knowledge and evaluation of objects and phenomena - Be able to take into account social, environmental, ethical, economic aspects, health and safety requirements, industrial sanitation and fire safety in technical solutions. Be able to use different types and forms of physical activity for active recreation and healthy living - Be able to use in production and social activities fundamental concepts and categories of state formation to justify their own worldviews and political beliefs taking into account socio-political history of Ukraine, legal principles and ethical norms - Be able to present the obtained scientific results, participate in discussions on the content and results of their own research.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process, which are based on the knowledge of the school curriculum of the disciplines "History", "People and the World", "Artistic Culture", "Ethics". ∙To be able to collect and interpret information about phenomena and phenomena of the world and culture, to understand the essence of philosophical problems, topics, ideas, to be able to analyze philosophical and scientific texts; ∙To have the skills of perception and analysis of information; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural events and phenomena.
Course content
The discipline "Philosophy" belongs to the list of disciplines of choice of the university and is taught in the 1st semester of the bachelor's degree of the 4th year of study in preparation in the field of natural science, automation and instrument construction in the amount of 120 hours (78 classroom hours, 42 hours - independent work). The educational discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to involve students in the worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind throughout the history of its existence, to show the integral, integrative nature of knowledge about the surrounding world, to emphasize the fundamental importance for each person of his free worldview self-determination, the choice of an active life position, creation good by strengthening the state and society through its own activities. Philosophy for future physicists is a worldview and at the same time a methodological basis, on the basis of which the assimilation of humanitarian, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines takes place. To a large extent, it is precisely thanks to it that it becomes possible for students' consciousness to go beyond narrowly professional training, to focus on universal human values.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching and learning methods: lecture, seminar, independent work, oral report, written test, presentation of independent research, analysis of a philosophical text.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.6), which makes up 40% of the total assessment and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.6); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.3), which is 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: RN 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1 –23 / 36 points 2. Control work No. 1: RN 1.1, 1.3, 1.5, 2.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 – 5 / 7 points 3. Final control work: RN – 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 2.2, 2.3, 2.6 - 5/7 0 points 4. Independent work (Analysis of a philosophical text): RN 1.1, 1.4, 2.1, 3.2, 4.2 –5 / 10 points
