Learning outcomes
1.1 To know: the basic laws of electrodynamics, optics, quantum mechanics, which determine the optical properties of macromolecules. 1.2 To be able to: analyze the influence of physical factors on the properties of macromolecules, which are manifested in their study by optical spectroscopy. Describe and explain the phenomena associated with the manifestations of these properties.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basics of general physics, thermodynamics. 2. To be able to apply previous knowledge of the courses of mathematical analysis, differential and integral equations, general physics.
Course content
CM I. Topic 1. Electronic structure of organic compounds. TOPIC 2. Molecular orbitals of organic compounds. CM II. Topic 3. Classical models of optical constants. Topic 4. Basic properties of substances.
