The purpose of the discipline is to form the theoretical knowledge of the students and practical skills of translating legal documents and contracts from Spanish into Ukrainian and from Ukrainian into Spanish, which is a mandatory component of the work of a future translator.
Abstract of the educational discipline: The educational discipline consists of two parts: the first, "Components of professional competence of a translator of legal texts and contracts", is aimed at mastering the main morphosyntactic, lexical and stylistic features of legal texts.
The second part, "Typology of legal texts", aims to familiarize students with various types of written and oral legal texts and ways of their adequate and equivalent translation. The educational discipline, firstly, continues the development of the terminological language toolkit, the study of specialized terminology, and, secondly, allows you to develop and improve the skills needed for a professional working in a highly specialized field.
