PR03. Plan, perform, analyze data and present the results of experimental research in the field of biology. PR08. Know and understand the basic terms, concepts, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences and at the border of subject areas. PR09. Follow the provisions of biological ethics, rules of biological safety and biological protection in the process of education and professional activity. PR15. Analyze the forms of relationships between micro- and macroorganisms with the determination of the main directions of these processes. PR16. Know the structure and functions of the immune system, cellular and molecular mechanisms of immune reactions, their regulation, genetic control; types of immunity and methods of assessing the immune status of the organism.

External form

1. Successful mastery of scientific, theoretical and practical material of the academic disciplines taught to students of the Bachelor's degree: "Microbiology", "Biochemistry", "Immunology", "Cytology of microorganisms", "Ecology of microorganisms", etc. 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of the basics of microbiology, general immunology, biochemistry and other disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.

The academic discipline "Mechanisms of evasion of immune surveillance by microorganisms" is a component of the educational program of professional training of specialists of the educational degree "Bachelor". The discipline is selective and is devoted to the study of the main mechanisms of resistance of microorganisms to recognition and elimination by means of immune reactivity. The academic discipline "Mechanisms of evasion of immune surveillance by microorganisms" covers the consideration of the mechanisms of adaptation of pathogens with extracellular and intracellular forms of parasitism to the aggressive environment of fluids, tissues and host cells. The mechanisms of evasion of recognition of pathogen-associated molecular patterns by pattern-recognizing membrane, cytosolic and secreted structures are studied. Special attention is paid to pathogen-mediated mechanisms of resistance to the phagocyte system. A review of the means of evasion and suppression of humoral innate immunity, as well as the responses of adaptive anti-infectious immunity, is conducted. The mechanisms of molecular mimicry of pathogens as a mechanism of induction of post-infectious autoaggression are briefly discussed separately.
