Learning outcomes
Know: the main geological problems solved using industrial geophysical methods; the most important stages of processing and interpreting industrial geophysical data; the main methods for interpreting well electrometry data; the most common methods for interpreting radioactive logging data; the main methods for interpreting acoustic logging data; the specifics of integrated interpretation of industrial geophysical data; the specifics of using computerized technologies for interpreting industrial geophysical data; the specifics of presenting geological data based on the results of industrial geophysics data interpretation; the specifics of applying various methods and techniques for interpreting industrial geophysics data. Be able to: interpret well electrometry data using computerized technologies; interpret data from non-electrical well logging methods using computerized technologies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the fundamentals of geophysical well logging, petrophysics, and the petrography of reservoir rocks.
Course content
The course covers: the concept of the database of geological, geophysical, industrial, and related information, which serves as the basis for solving problems in industrial geophysics; the concepts of individual, comprehensive, and generalized interpretation, as well as qualitative and quantitative interpretation; the essence of the geophysical and geological stages of processing and interpreting industrial geophysical data; the main (classical) methods and techniques for interpreting data from electrical, radioactive, acoustic, and other industrial geophysical methods with the aim of identifying oil- and gas-saturated reservoir rocks in well logs and determining their petrophysical properties including reservoir properties and calculation parameters (porosity, oil and gas saturation, effective thickness, etc.); fundamentals of computer processing and interpretation of industrial geophysical data.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical sessions, and independent study by students.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is conducted using a modular-rating system and includes: the completion of three practical assignments (in which students must demonstrate the quality of their acquired knowledge and solve assigned problems using the methods and tools specified by the instructor) and the submission of three written module assignments/papers. Final assessment takes the form of a written exam.
