Know the main events and processes that led to the emergence and development of news agencies in Eastern countries. Know the theoretical and methodological approaches and the main concepts of information representation by news agencies in Eastern countries. Know the main trends of globalization of the world's "news markets," the role and place of news agencies of Eastern countries in these processes. Be able to analyze the source base, scientific literature, and use official digital resources of news agencies.

1. Know the general history of the countries of the East from ancient times to the present. 2. Be able to work with electronic repositories, web resources, and scientific literature. 3. Possess elementary skills of source base analysis, understand key concepts and historical processes that took place in the countries of the East from ancient times to the present.

The proposed discipline encompasses a broad spectrum of topics, starting from the history of creation and development of leading information agencies in Eastern countries and covers the global and regional levels of their activities. Students will investigate the strategies these agencies use for collecting, processing, and disseminating information, as well as how these strategies adapt to modern challenges such as digitalization, fake news, and international conflicts. Particular attention will be paid to the study of ethical dilemmas faced by information agencies in their efforts to maintain objectivity and independence in complex political and social contexts.
