Course content
The course covers the study of the microscopic structure of plant organism structures, their development and changes in various living conditions. The discipline examines concepts, principles and methods, classification systems and theories in the field of biology of higher plants. During the study of the discipline, special attention is paid to the relationship between the structure of plant cells and tissues and their functions and its significance for the organism. During the study of plant biology, students become familiar with methods for preparing temporary preparations for light microscopy. This course presents or demonstrates the practical application and significance of individual methods, concepts and systems in the field of landscape planning and gardening and in other areas of social activity (agriculture, biotechnology, search for new plant resources, production of raw materials of plant origin, life safety, nature protection, models of sustainable development of nature and society, education, etc.).
