Learning outcomes
PLO4. To make a psychological forecast regarding the development of individuals, groups, and organisations. PLO8. To assess the complexity level of tasks and make decisions about seeking assistance or improving qualifications. PLO9. To resolve ethical dilemmas based on legal norms, ethical principles, and universal human values. PLO12. To develop and master technologies of political-psychological research. PLO13. To reflect and critically evaluate the reliability of independently obtained results in relation to political-psychological practice.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Understand the characteristics of the functioning and development of modern society, politics, and government, as well as human interaction with social and political institutions. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information regarding the phenomena and manifestations of socio-political processes, and apply basic concepts in critically analyzing events occurring in the contemporary global political process. 3. Possess basic skills in scientific research and information management; critical analysis and forecasting regarding political, economic, and cultural events and phenomena; and the use of informational sources.
Course content
The aim of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the psychology of political communication, to familiarize them with the psychological patterns underlying the political communication process, and to help them develop effective communication skills.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminar discussions; debates, individual and group projects, case studies, communication exercises, and role-playing games.
Assessment methods and criteria
Final assessment takes the form of a course grade. The course grade is determined based on the student’s performance throughout the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100) and does not require additional assessment activities for students who have met the requirements. Students who have earned a total of fewer than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical minimum of 40 points, must take the exam. The exam consists of a final test, which is worth 20 points.
