1. Know, understand and be able to use in practice basic concepts from the theory of physical geography, landscape ecology, and worldview sciences (P01) 2. Explain the peculiarities of the organization of geographical space depending on its physical and geographical features and landscape structure features (P03) 3. Analyze the geographical potential of the territory taking into account its landscape structure (P04) 4. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the landscape shell and its components (P07)

Full-time form

1. Successful mastery of the disciplines "Fundamentals of General Geology", "Geomorphology". 2. Know the position of the sciences of natural and socio-geographical direction, in particular, the properties and patterns of development of the geographical envelope and its structural units (landscape complexes), the course of exogenous and endogenous processes, human impact on the natural environment and the consequences of such impact, features of the territorial distribution of the population and economy. 3. Be able to apply methods of scientific research (cartographic, observation, analysis, synthesis, comparison, comparison, typification, generalization and systematization, etc.) when studying geographical space, establish the uniqueness of its natural conditions, determine the extent of anthropogenic modification and predict the consequences for the environment and population.

This discipline highlights the structural elements of UNESCO heritage – world cultural and natural heritage, documentary heritage, underwater cultural heritage, intangible cultural heritage. The role of geographical science in the study and protection of natural and cultural objects is highlighted. The natural and cultural heritage of Ukraine is reviewed and its significance for the world community is noted. The discipline consists of two content parts (modules) and is aimed at forming special geographical competencies in students, in particular content (empirical and theoretical knowledge), operational (skills, abilities, methods of educational and cognitive activity and experience of their application to solve theoretical and practical tasks) and worldview (geographical picture of the world, emotional and value attitude towards the environment and human activity in it, acquired creative activity) components.
