1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines "Medical Biology", "Medical and Biological Physics", "Medical Informatics", "Medical Chemistry", "Biological and Bioorganic Chemistry", "Human Anatomy", "Histology, Cytology and Embryology", "Physiology", "Microbiology, Virology and Immunology", "Life Safety; Fundamentals of Bioethics and Biosafety", "Pathomorphology", "Pathophysiology", "Pharmacology", "Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge in medical biology, medical and biological physics, medical informatics, medical chemistry, biological and bioorganic chemistry, human anatomy, histology, cytology and embryology, physiology, microbiology, virology and immunology, life safety; fundamentals of bioethics and biosafety, pathomorphology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, propaedeutics of internal diseases and other disciplines. 3. Possession of elementary skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The academic discipline "Urology" is a component of the cycle of training specialists of the "Master" educational level under the educational program "Medicine". "Urology" is an elective discipline that covers the study of concepts, terminology, diagnostic and treatment techniques in medical activities related to the provision of qualified medical care to patients with the full range of diseases of the genitourinary system, taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient and his attitude to the disease. The subject teaches how to draw up a plan for examining a urological patient and interpret the results of the study, provide pre-hospital medical and prophylactic and sanitary and preventive care, and provide first emergency medical care for acute illnesses and accidents.
