Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: the periodization of the literary process; the main features of the leading literary styles, trends and the dynamics of their changes during the 19th-21st centuries; leading works of literary scholars devoted to the study of the creativity of writers of the late 19th-21st centuries; the basics of literary analysis of works of art.
Be able to: systematize literary facts and phenomena, give them an objective assessment; highlight the problematic and thematic features of the literary movement; operate with the literary terminological apparatus; independently research individual aspects of the literary process of the 20th century.
Possess elementary skills: classify literary works - by subject, problem, genre and style features; carry out
a comparison of aesthetic trends, subject, problem and genre and style features of works; carry out a fundamental analysis of the features of the literary process of the late 19th-21st centuries; apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Course content
The discipline "Anthology as a Modern Project" considers anthology as a separate genre that was finally formed during the period of the modern formation of Ukrainian literature. Special attention is paid to such functions of anthology as canon-forming, nation-building, culturological, and preservation of memory; aspects of fiction that anthology represents: performative, subjective, gender, regional, etc. Within the discipline, students can familiarize themselves with the strategies of compilers at different stages of creating anthologies, trace the influence of cultural and historical events on the content and forms of anthologies, and explore the diversity of anthologies.

Types of work: answers in seminar classes, test work with open answers, credit creative work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester score is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire academic course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work and for independent work.
During the semester, assessment is carried out in accordance with the types of work and forms of control described in p. 7.1. The credit is issued based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester, as well as the final credit assignment (creative project of their own anthology). Students who have scored a minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "passed". Students who have not scored a minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "not passed". Students who have scored less than 46 points in total for the semester must complete the credit on the topics for which the debt has arisen.
