Learning outcomes
PRN5. To propose and organize ecological, biological and technological measures for the creation and maintenance of horticultural facilities, natural and cultural landscapes. PRN9. To present the results of research carried out in the field of horticultural facilities to specialists and non-specialists. PRN12. To create landscaping facilities for various purposes and to select a complex of works for caring for plants in plantations. PRN16. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of natural sciences, to form an idea of ​​​​phytooptimization of anthropogenically modified landscapes, the peculiarities of plant interaction and the specificity of root nutrition in urban landscapes, as well as their climate-forming ability.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines "Plant Biology", "Vegetation of the Globe", "Plant Biochemistry", "Dendrology", "Plant Physiology", "Decorative Dendrology", "Phytoecology of Landscapes", "Greening of Settlements". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of biology, biochemistry and physiology of plants, phytoecology and dendrology, as well as other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possession of elementary skills in working with materials and equipment used in biological and chemical laboratories, as well as skills in system analysis.
Course content
The academic discipline "Poisonous and medicinal plants in an urbanized environment" is a freely chosen discipline for a student of the "Master" degree in the specialty H3 "Landscaping", which forms a comprehensive understanding of: ecology, chemical composition, peculiarities of the use of poisonous and medicinal plants in an urbanized environment; accumulation and release of biologically active, dangerous, valuable substances; impact on the human body, precautions.
