Learning outcomes
PRN3. To propose and implement in production modern technologies for growing planting material: ornamental trees, shrubs, flower crops, lawn grasses. PRN5. To propose and organize ecological, biological and technological measures for the creation and maintenance of horticultural and park facilities, natural and cultural landscapes. PRN9. To present the results of research in the field of horticultural and park facilities to specialists and non-specialists. PRN12. To create landscaping facilities for various purposes and select a complex of works for caring for plants in plantations. PRN16. Based on in-depth knowledge of natural sciences, to form an idea of ​​​​phytooptimization of anthropogenically changed landscapes, features of plant interaction and the specificity of root nutrition in urban landscapes, as well as their climate-forming ability.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines "Plant Biology", "Plant Biochemistry", "Plant Physiology", "Landscape Phytoecology", "Greening of populated areas", "Entomology", "Phytopathology", "Chemistry with the basics of agrochemistry". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of biology, biochemistry and plant physiology, phytopathology, phytoecology and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possession of basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biological and chemical laboratories, as well as skills in system analysis.
Course content
The academic discipline "Plant Protection Products" is a discipline of free choice for a student of the "Master" degree in the specialty H3 "Horticulture", which forms a comprehensive understanding of: means of protection against adverse biotic and abiotic factors, substances of natural and artificial origin that cause the formation of protective reactions of the plant organism, regulate growth and development.
