Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of scientific, theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of the "Bachelor" educational level, and special disciplines, such as "Biochemistry of pathological processes", "Clinical laboratory diagnostics", "Laboratory work technique", "Analytical chemistry", "Medical chemistry", "Biological chemistry" and "Clinical chemistry" 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of inorganic, organic and analytical chemistry, human physiology and anatomy, human biochemistry. 3. Ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice when conducting biochemical research.
Course content
Discipline "Clinical Biochemistry of Pathological Conditions" includes in-depth study of the principles of biochemical reactions in pathological conditions in vivo and their reproduction in vitro, mastering a wide range of spectrophotometric, potentiometric, turbidimetric, chemiluminescent methods of detection of analytes diagnosis in accordance with the standards of medical care and taking into account the requirements of biosafety and biosecurity in the handling of potentially infected and infectious material, the ability to interpret biochemical studies.
