Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines "Zoology", "Human and Animal Physiology", "Theory of Evolution", "Ecology and Nature Conservation".
2. The ability to independently apply knowledge of general zoology, animal ecology and other academic disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific and methodological literature.
3. Possession of elementary skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The academic discipline "Carcinology" is a component of the professional training program for specialists of the "Bachelor" educational level under the educational program "Biology". "Carcinology" is a discipline of free choice of the student, which highlights the issues of diversity, features of biology and ecology, features of adaptations to the environment, practical significance of representatives of the Crustacean subtype, and also outlines a range of methods and methodological approaches that can be used when conducting experiments in related sciences and within the framework of interdisciplinary projects that require in-depth knowledge of zoology.
