PR01. Understand the social and economic consequences of the introduction of the latest developments in the field of biology in professional activities. PR02. Apply modern information technologies, software and Internet resources for information support of professional activities. PROZ. Plan, perform, analyze data and present the results of experimental research in the field of biology. PR04. Communicate orally and in writing on professional issues using scientific terms accepted in the professional environment, in the state and foreign languages. PR07. Possess methods of self-education and self-improvement. Be able to design a trajectory of professional growth and personal development, applying the acquired knowledge. PR09. Adhere to the provisions of biological ethics, rules of biological safety and biological protection in the process of learning and professional activities.

External form

1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines of the Bachelor's degree program: Botany, Fundamentals of Ecology and Nature Conservation, Bioorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Plant Physiology, Plant Growth and Development. 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of botany, plant physiology, biochemistry, and other academic disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.

The discipline is a selective discipline that covers the following issues: features of the accumulation of medicinally valuable substances in plants; the dependence of the physiological action of a herbal preparation on its chemical composition; plants used for the treatment and prevention of diseases, increasing mental and physical performance, treating diseases of the digestive, respiratory, nervous, endocrine and cardiovascular systems; plants that exhibit antibacterial, antiviral, fungicidal, insecticidal effects; plants rich in alkaloids, cardiac glycosides, vitamins, oils, bitterness, antidiabetic substances; poisonous plants and providing first aid to victims of the use of poisonous plants; regulations on the terms and methods of collecting, preparing and storing medicinal raw materials.
