1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines "Botany", "Plant Physiology", "Teaching Practice in Botany and Zoology", "Fundamentals of Ecology and Nature Conservation", "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology", "Foreign Language" and knowledge of the basics of morphology, anatomy, physiology, plant taxonomy and the basic principles and rules of botanical nomenclature within the framework of normative and special disciplines and field practices taught in previous years of study. 2. The ability to identify botanical objects in the volume determined by the normative disciplines taught in previous years of study; participate in disputes and competently justify one's point of view; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of elementary skills in using keys to determine taxa of different ranks and skills in systemic analysis.

The discipline "Archegoniata" is a component of the student's free choice cycle. The discipline is a basic botanical discipline that allows you to form an idea of ​​​​the place of higher spore and gymnosperm plants in the system of the organic world and the most modern systems of classification of these objects, their origin and phylogenetic relationships, structural-organizational and taxonomic diversity, the role and significance for the sustainable development of nature and society, modern trends and directions of fundamental scientific and applied research in the field of archegoniata systematics and related sciences. Its place in the system of other biological disciplines is most consistent with the concept of plants as material for versatile biological research, similar to animals in zoology, and bacteria and viruses in microbiology and virology, respectively. The discipline is closely interconnected with the systematics and nomenclature of higher plants, morphology, anatomy, plant physiology, phytocoenology, plant geography, paleobotany, plant ecology, molecular biology, and phytosozology.
