PR10. Be able to conduct experimental research to determine the influence of physicochemical and biological factors of the external environment on the vital activity of cells of living organisms. PR22. Be able to take into account social, environmental, ethical, economic aspects, requirements of labor protection, industrial sanitation and fire safety when forming technical solutions. Be able to use various types and forms of physical activity for active recreation and leading a healthy lifestyle. PR26. Be able to use modern knowledge of the achievements of biological, environmental sciences, etc. to implement them in biotechnological production. PR27. Be able to apply methods and approaches to creating biotechnological products based on protein molecules.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "Bioorganic Chemistry", "Biochemistry", "Fundamentals of Biotechnology" and elective disciplines of the relevant profile. 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of bioorganic chemistry and biochemistry, fundamentals of biotechnology, and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possess basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in conducting scientific research and biotechnological developments of the relevant profile.
Course content
The discipline covers theoretical and practical aspects of conducting biotechnological developments in the field related to the hemostasis system. The structure and functioning of individual links of the hemostasis system, the features of conducting analytical manipulations and determining molecules that can influence the processes of coagulation and fibrinolysis are considered in detail. The methodological features of searching, extracting, purifying and characterizing protein molecules that can be potential effectors of the hemostasis system and act as active components of future biotechnological products directed at the hemostasis system are also considered in detail.
